Ten years ago, a small and diverse group of mothers, each with different immigration statuses, education levels, incomes, races, and cultural backgrounds, found themselves united by a shared struggle: they were all navigating a school system not built with them in mind.
Since 2016, we have become a network of parents amplifying the voices of families in decision making working in partnership with schools to improve student outcomes in Massachusetts.
We come together, and ask you to join us, as we honor our founding members and everyone who have walked beside us, those who invested in us, and the parent leaders who advocated . We invite you to celebrate our shared impact and help us ensure CPLAN remains a driving force in education for the next decade.
