An interactive workshop for families new to Special Education on how to organize Special Ed. documents, have successful IEP meetings, learn the most commonly used terms, parent rights, facts vs myths and more, to help them start this journey with knowledge, confidence, and empowerment.
This hybrid workshop will be hosted in person at the Brockton Community and Family Center (20 Union Street, Brockton) and also via Zoom. For in- person attendees we will have light refreshments and childcare available.
Offered in English, Spanish, Haitian Creole, and Portuguese
